Barber Institute of Fine Arts |

Opened in 1939 for the study and enjoyment of art and music, the Barber Institute of Fine Arts possesses one of the finest art collections in the country. The Barber's stylist Art Deco building was designed by Robert Atkinson, one of the most prominent British architects of the 1920s and 30s. Atkinson also designed a number of cinemas and this is evident in the Barber's stunning auditorium.
