Quadrophenia

Dir: Franc Roddam

(UK 1979, 120mins)

With its Alice in Wonderland secret garden and first floor Victorian inspired Gin Palace (with over 50 Gins), The Jekyll and Hyde is certainly one of the city centre’s finest boozers. And with their regular movie-night, Juniper cinema screening classics from the 30s to the 70s, it made perfect sense to team up with them for Film Bug. Tying in with our Bkermania strand, Juniper Cinema will be presenting the 1979 archetypal mod film, Quadrophenia. As a warm up for the Phil Daniels scooter classic, we’ll be screening a selection of some of the best music videos to hit the web over the last year or so in Musictube.

This screening is part of Film Bug, a festival within a festival which takes over venues across the Colmore district of the city centre from 14-16 March.
