Films can take you to all kinds of places in no time at all. In Streamschool (dir: Peter Vacz) a girl travels from a tiny brook all the way to the ocean, while Apollo (dir: Felix Gonnert) is about a boy who finds he can stop time with a toy rocket. Taiwanese short Out of Sight (dir: Ya-Ting Yu, Ya-Hsuan Yeh, & Ling Chung) explores the sensory world of a girl trying to navigate without her guide-dog, and capping it all off is the wonderful Argentine film Luminaris (dir: Juan Pablo Zaramella) – about a man in a lightbulb factory with a daydream he can’t shake off.
