Justice like to whip their audiences into a frenzy, pummelling them with flashing lights and apocalyptic basslines until they’re pretty much ready to do anything. This candid tour-film shot on the road in North America last summer captures the full overload of the live experience as well as the antics that go on between shows, and it’s fair to say that this French dance duo could teach Coldplay a thing or two about rock’n’roll behaviour.

Behind the camera is Romain Gavras, hotly tipped director and founder of the Kourtrajme collective. (His dad Costa-Gavras, maker of earnest political thrillers, may well be wondering where it all went wrong). Also showing tonight amongst a selection of Justice videos is Gavras’s promo for ‘Stress’, which angered some with its portrayal of marauding hoodies in the banlieues of Paris. And on our own doorstep, Justice 3.1 (dir: Stuart Mills) is a comedy about the dangers of electronic tagging.
